So it’s the start of the Summer here in Wisconsin! We are making every effort to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery here. Mitzi and I decided that if we are going to be here, we better learn and enjoy what the Midwest has to offer our family.
At the end of May, we attended the “Chocolate Fest”. It was a quaint little festival/fair located in a tiny town of Burlington Wisconsin. There was chocolate of course, lots of fair rides, the booths of junk where people are trying to get you to buy the things no one needs, and of course - fried food. We decided to go the night they had fireworks planned. I have to admit, we were impressed with the firework show. It was over 20 minutes long, we had great seats, and it wasn’t crowded at all.
