Abby got her Baby, Baby...

Abbys new favorite toy is her play stroller! I believe she got it for Christmas from our next door neighbor. All day long she is pushing her stroller around. Typically she has food, balls, bottles etc in her stroller. Of course we had to put a baby in it for pictures. She was ok with this for a while, but then wanted to revert back to what she wanted to push around - the baby didn't make the cut!

Baseball Pictures

On Saturday we had Benjamin’s Baseball pictures. I of course took my own camera. I know it bugs some people but I want to be able to use the picture for other things like a blog post! While we were there, I took the opportunity to have Benjamin stand with his coach and one of his friends who happens to be the coach’s son. So, since I took my own camera, I can now share with you!

Because I Knew You... I Have Been Changed - For Good!

This past weekend Mitzi and I had the opportunity to see Wicked, the musical. We have now seen this in Chicago and here in Salt Lake. Each experience unique and wonderful; this time we were only 8 rows back! I love the story portrayed, the music and the experience of going to the theater. It was a special night. Thank you mom for watching the kids and giving me the promo code to order the tickets a day in advance, we would have never gotten to seen it without your help.

I wish I knew about this musical when it was first released on Broadway. The original cast I hear was amazing and the CD proves just that.

For those of you who have not seen this musical or listened to it, it is a must!

Family Pictures

Well, we have done our duty and participated in family pictures with my side of the family. Thankfully it was not that bad of an experience and in all it went ok. So it’s now time to share.

The LOOK!

Many people don't believe us when we tell them about Abigail and her attitude which usually leads to the fact that she regularly rolls her eyes at Mitzi and I. Well here is a little proof that we aren’t lying!

This is the look right before the eyes begin to roll and with the size of her eyes, one will get a roll full! The first documented eye rolling by a third party was a photographer. Mitzi and I decided we should take family pictures and for some reason, Abby was not a fan of this woman positioning her. Well, she got the roll and caught it. The photographer was shocked that so much attitude came out of such a little thing so quietly.

Yes, this is our Abba girl! We wouldn’t change a thing, we love her and her attitude even more – I just hope we will feel the same during the teen years!

We love you Abby!

Dirt Anyone?

This last Monday we planted flowers as a family. It was a lot of fun as you can see from Abby's clothing. Benjamin was a big helper this year, wanting to do everything. We planted a variety of flowers and look forward to them bring joy to us and our visitors!

Abby, What do you THINK you are Doing?

This evening Benjamin began shouting, “Dad come here, quick! Abby is getting in trouble!” My immediate thought is: “What is she into now???” Well, this is a new one.
